Millions of children continue to face educational crises in many different ways which pushes their hopes and ability to cordially excel in and outside class. For many parents, guardians, and supporters, paying for tuition is a priority and other strategic items that contribute towards the child’s smooth learning processes are never paid attention to.

EIC in collaboration with stakeholders, partners, and schools have launched a project of raising 10 million Pens for 10 million children in rural schools who continue to face radical challenges accessing their learning, writing materials, and school supplies.

We work with university students, influence able community leaders, schools, and organizations to raise these scholastic materials to deliver to our partnering schools and children whose educational hope is at the brink of dropping out of school.

Since the foundation in 2019, EIC has directly impacted over 201 children and youth in Five African countries through delivering and ensuring children and youth whose education is in crisis are retained or taken back to class by providing tuition, scholastic materials, and supported through mentorship as they take on their learning in different partner schools in Uganda, Tanzania, Sudan, South Sudan, and Kenya.

For every child who receives support to go to school, you create hope for more to follow and fuel their dreams.

The 100FS was the first and current ongoing project initiated by EIC to send or retain the first 100 school children to/in school from 2020 academic year in the Nuba Mountains, South Kordofan State, Sudan. This started with the two children, Chichi Simon, and Martha Khamis (R.I.P May 2023) with paying for fees, school supplies such as uniforms, books, pens, reproductive health products for girls. The two girls became our foundational scholars before being joined by more in East Africa later. In 2024, we are mobilizing additional foundational donors to support additional children so that we can reach our target of 100 foundational scholars by the end of this year. These foundational scholars once done with their college education, EIC will link them to potential jobs or support their self employment whose resources in turn will support another 100 children as a way of multiplier effect hence becoming a donor too.

To measure the impact of providing quality education to a child who didn’t have the same opportunity like their counterparts in the rest of the world, EIC aims at maintaining a track record of the first One Hundred foundational Scholars who will be supported through their secondary and college education to their professional lives such that the organization looks back to tell a story of One Hundred ways to transform someone’s life.

With the founding principle of mobilizing local resources from within local people to solve local problems facing local people, EIC aims at standing and walking by the side of the first one hundred foundational scholars till they are professionally able to contribute back to their selves, families, communities, and the world just as they were helped by EIC’s members.

Beyond the classroom, your additional contributions support youth volunteers with training they need to support the school going children as they keep in class. The First 100 contributors are called Founding members receive 1 certificate of appreciation for supporting 1 child.
