The EiC Job Grading Scale System is part of the Founding Documents that establishes a structured framework for evaluating job roles within the organization. It ensures consistency, transparency, and equity in remuneration and career progression. This system aligns job responsibilities with skills, experience, and performance expectations.

Equity-Based:
Salaries and stipends are benchmarked to local cost-of-living, roles, and responsibilities.

Performance and Progression
- Monthly/Annual reviews assess performance and opportunities for advancement.
- Each grade includes a salary band and opportunity for progression within the band.
- Promotions are tied to consistent high performance, skill development, and organizational needs.
Review and Governance
The CCF is reviewed every 2 years by EiC’s HR and Strategic Management Committee to ensure alignment with:
• Labor laws in countries of operation
• Donor compliance standards
• Evolving operational needs
Overview
The Compensation and Classification Framework (CCF) of Education in Crisis (EiC) is designed to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and role clarity across all EiC operations. It provides a clear structure for job roles, responsibilities, and career progression aligned with international best practices, and tailored to EiC’s vision and mission.
EiC adopts a 9-Level CCF System, with each grade reflecting increasing levels of responsibility, expertise, and impact.
