EiC is a two-time recognized NGO in 2022 and 2023 by Africans Rising and African Youth SDGs Summit in Africa, working in the world’s hardest to reach places where no one reaches to make accessible the right to education as their fundamental human right through a range of programming considering the most left furthest behind and disadvantaged children and adolescents.

EiC works through its core areas of expertise including EiE and Crisis Response, Scholarships and Financial Inclusion, School Meals and nutrition, safe water and sanitation for schools and communities, Teachers training, Technology and innovation in Learning, Advocacy and policy influence, and the protection of children and adolescents from violence and exploitation.

EiC is on the ground where everyone fears, before, during and after humanitarian emergencies making accessible quality education for all as their ultimate hope for their futures.

To EiC, an education crisis means learning poverty, out-of-school children, long distance to schools, lack of scholastic materials, lack of dignity kits for girls, conflicts and disasters disrupting education, poorly trained and demotivated teacher, unsafe learning environment, poor quality education systems, for all as their ultimate hope for their futures.

EiC works in 5 African countries and 2 regions in the world’s hardest to reach areas to reach every child and young people left most behind.

With its headquarters domiciled in Arusha, Tanzania, EiC works through partnership of a network of more 100 secondary schools, 5 universities in 5 countries and a regional office in Sudan’s Nuba Mountains region. Some 85 per cent of our staff are located in the field.
