Despite being students at universities, the team at Education in Crisis is doing incredibly great volunteer work to mobilize individuals, organizations like ours (Darfur Network for Human Rights) to promote inclusive, equitable, quality education for poverty alleviation and sustainable development. Education is a human right that no child should be denied its access that is why we gave them space at our office in Kampala to do their work anytime as a way of supporting them as they support children and youth access education.

At EIC, I love the fact that everyone brings their idea and it is discussed in a team of different youth who come from different countries in Africa. I got to experience so many elements of volunteering and stayed with an amazing team of young people like me who are doing exactly what they desire to see in Africa. The volunteers at EIC will do anything to make sure the resources donated are used according to the purpose.
