EiC Recognized in UK Non-Profit Awards 2025

Education in Crisis Honored with International Recognition for Dedication to Children’s Education in Sudan

Arusha, Tanzania – 20 September 2025 Education in Crisis (EiC), a youth-led organization working to protect and restore education for children affected by conflict, poverty and displacement led by professional youth from 7 African countries united by one mission: making accessible equitable, inclusive, quality education to all, has been awarded the “Most Dedicated Children’s Education Services Organisation 2025 – Sudan” by Acquisition International (UK) under its prestigious Non-Profit Organisation Awards 2025.

Present in Sudan since 2020 through its flagship program: The Foundational Scholars Program, this award recognizes EiC’s relentless efforts to ensure that children in Sudan, one of the world’s most severe education crises, are not left behind. With more than 19 million school-aged children currently out of school due to conflict, EiC has remained at the forefront, delivering innovative interventions such as the accelerated learning initiatives, school feeding programs, Emergency responses to disasters and the TutaLearn digital platform.
