Across our continent, at least 20 million children in Sudan alone are out of school since 2023 and millions of others in other situation countries—not because they lack dreams, but because they lack the chance. War, poverty, and displacement have closed classroom doors, put on hold millions of dreams and silenced the potential of a generation.
But what if we told you that change doesn’t begin with billions—it begins with one?

Dear fellow Africans,
My name is Amina, and I am writing this letter not just as a child, but as one of millions of children across our continent who dream of going to school, learning to read and write, and building a better life.
Right now, I am out of school. Not because I don't want to learn—but because my family, like many others, cannot afford school fees, learning materials, or transportation. For children like me, education remains a distant dream. But I believe that together, we can change this.
That’s why I’m writing to you with a simple but kind request: please give $1 and join the movement of 1 million Africans funding education for children in crisis. Just one dollar can help put a child like me on the path to opportunity, hope, and a future filled with promise so I can also help others in future.
We are not asking the world to save us. We are asking our fellow Africans to stand with us. To say: no more lost potential, no more wasted dreams. This campaign is about Africans supporting Africans—one dollar, one scholar, one future at a time.
